                                 专家介绍--梁 雷[美]

梁雷（Lei Liang)，美籍华裔青年作曲家，哈佛大学博士，美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校（University of California, San Diego)副教授。梁雷４岁开始学琴，６岁开始作曲。1983年起随周广仁教授学习钢琴，少年时期曾多次在国内获作曲和钢琴表演奖，其作品成为钢琴比赛的必弹曲目。1990年，梁雷赴美继续读高中，２年内获得美国中学生“总统奖”，在新英格兰音乐学院获得作曲学士与硕士学位。1998至2001年被哈佛大学院士协会聘为青年院士，是历年来仅有的几位获选艺术家之一，也是这个产生过1８位诺贝尔奖得主的协会中最年轻的成员。梁雷的作品多次在国际比赛中获奖，并在世界各国演出。梁雷曾任美国明德大学（Middlebury College)音系客座教授，武汉音乐学院名誉教授，陕西师范大学艺术学院特聘客座教授。

Lei Liang is a Chinese-born American composer, holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University, and is currently Assistant Professor of Music at the University of California, San Diego. He began studying the piano at age 4, and started composing at age 6. Since 1983, he studied with Prof. Zhou Guanren, and won numerous national awards for both piano performance and composition while in China. His compositions became required repertoire in piano competitions. He came to the U.S. in 1990 as a high school student, and within 2 years, he received the “Presidential Fitness Award.”  He completed the B.M. and M.M. from the New England Conservatory of music. From 1998-2001, he was named a Fellow at the Society of Fellows of Harvard University, becoming one of the few artists ever selected to this prestigious institution which has harvested 18 Nobel Prizes. Lei Liang’s compositions have won many international awards, and have been performed throughout the world. He was Visiting Assistant Professor at Middlebury College, Honorary Professor at Wuhan Conservatory, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Shanxi Normal University College of Arts in Xi’an.
